Gold Membership has its benefits! And the winner of the February draw for 5% ownership share in a club horse is…. Gordon Furner from Sydney!
Gordon wins 5% in Kingstar Diamond (this covers all costs associated with the share until 1 August 2019, and is worth $10,000), in training with Gary Portelli. As per the training updates he has had some hoof issues and is now sporting some new shoes. He will be trialling shortly and looks set for racing in March. All Club Members (paid) will go into the draw for an ‘Ownerforaday’ experience when Kingstar Diamond makes his race debut.
KINGSTAR DIAMOND // Medaglia D’Oro x Farewell – Colt // Trained by Gary Portelli
Gordon was one of the first members of the club and has been track side for both the races, and at the stables for an open day. His immediate reaction was “you beauty” and knew immediately what Kingstar Diamond’s plans are, as he is a keen user of the Prism app.

CAULFIELD LAST WEEKEND
Racing at Caulfield last week saw over 20 Club Members in attendance, including the mounting yard. Gold Member Suzy and her friends have signed up for the lease option on the Exceed And Excel filly purchased at the Magic Millions.

This week’s Kingstar related runners and form:
Pricing Power // Muswellbrook Race 8 #11 – resuming after a long spell but has been training well for her return. I was looking through her form and she had run 4th to Bangkok who won at Rosehill yesterday. Has drawn barrier 1 with Andrew Gibbons taking the ride.
Cosmic Force // Randwick Race 3 #6 – top quality 2yo colts for this G2 but must be a chance on last start 2nd. Kerrin McEvoy takes the ride
Dyslexic // Race 8 #12 – fantastic latest trial for her return. She’s up against quality mares but off the minimum 54kg and Brenton Avdulla on board – good each way chance.
Falster // Armidale Race 5 #1 – has to carry top weight, but each way chance. Matthew Paget takes the ride.
Rock The World // Armidale Race 6 #6 – last start winner going up in grade but down in weight.
The Inglis Premier Sale starts on Sunday, followed by Magic Millions in Adelaide, all leading up to the major sale in Australia – the Inglis Easter Yearling Sale April 9/10 at the Riverside Stables at Warwick Farm.
Feedback from members has introduced a Wednesday email update regarding racing plans for the weekend. This is working well and will be more valuable with major G1 race days coming up in both Sydney and Melbourne.
For those lucky enough to be at Randwick this Saturday – enjoy the Winx experience.
